The two newest ultrabooks, the HP Spectre x360 13, and the 2019 Razer Blade Stealth are my two favorite 13 inch laptops with Thunderbolt 3 at the moment.
The HP Spectre has a new design that I am in love with while the Razer Blade Stealth is the only 13 inch ultrabook with discrete graphics and Thunderbolt 3. So we must examine the question of beauty and touch is more important than form and function.

HP x360 13
The new HP x360 13 has an incredible new design this time around along with solid hardware. Not only is the computer wrapped in gold but it has a unique gem cut design. Prices range from 1.1k-1.6k.

It comes with the latest "Whiskey Lake" Processors the Intel 8565u, a fully rotatable touchscreen display, 16gb of ram, 512gb ssd with full lane thunderbolt 3 while weighing under 3 pounds!
The HP's are unique in the fact that they offer 3 screen options, BrightView which goes up to 400 nits, Sureview which is a built in privacy protector that white outs the side while maintaining a 120hz frame rate and a wonderful 4k option as well. Keep in mind all of these options are touchscreens as the laptop is fully rotatable with pen support. HP claims up to 22.5 hours of battery life... We'll see.

The Razer Blade Stealth.
2019's Razer Blade Stealth comes with the all new design language that was used in the 2018 Razer Blade 15. They chose to remove the glowing logo for a more subtle look. Prices range from 1399-1899 for the 4k model.

It not only features the new "Whiskey Lake Processors" as well but now it includes a full 25 watt 4gb Nvdia MX150 inside on the middle to top Tier models as well. This is remarkable because it is the first 13 inch laptop with Thunderbolt 3 to do so!

Other Competitors

Dell XPS 13 9370

This new for 2018 Dell XPS 13 is an award winning laptop and one of the top in the class. It features the infinity edge display and a stunning Rose Gold Color. This model has omitted traditional USB ports for only Type C ports. I absolutely love the Rose Gold color option and highly recommend the extra premium. Prices range from 1k-1.6k.

While this has yet to be refreshed for 2019, it still remains a top competitor in the market.

Which Laptop is Best

I believe that the HP Spectre allows for much more creativity while the Razer Blade Stealth serves as a light gaming ultrabook that fills the gap in the market at the moment. It's perfect for those who play mainstream online games like League of Legends, or Overwatch, or Fortnite. The HP Spectre will be able to run most of those games closer to League of Legends, but at less power than the Razer Blade. The reason I picked these laptops were because of their Thunderbolt 3 support. This allows future proofing through the powers of EGPU's.

The Future of Laptops
In 2019, Laptops are sure to receive a huge buff from upgrades in current technology. You can look forward to slightly updated laptops that are going to hold the
